1. About our products
Prolific Audio designs and manufactures custom-fit, plug-and-play radio kits and related car-audio products. Most items are built to order and configured to your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and options. Because each kit is made for a specific vehicle, providing accurate vehicle information at checkout is your responsibility.
2. Orders and pricing
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including orders where pricing or product information was listed in error. Placing an order is an offer to purchase; your order is accepted when we begin processing it.
3. Payment
Payment is processed securely at checkout through our payment providers. You agree that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that the billing information you supply is accurate.
4. Shipping and delivery
We currently ship within the United States, typically via UPS or USPS and occasionally FedEx. Because many products are made to order, handling times vary with current production demand. If an item is back-ordered, contact us and we will provide an expected ship date. Prolific Audio is not responsible for carrier delays once a package has shipped.
5. Returns and refunds
Because our products are custom configured to your specific vehicle, returns are accepted at our discretion and may be subject to a restocking fee. We stand behind our work and will do everything within our ability to make any fitment issue right. Please contact us to start a return request before shipping anything back.
6. Warranty
Sony head units included in our kits carry the manufacturer’s warranty (typically three years). Our kit hardware is backed by our workmanship standards, and we provide lifetime installation support for kits purchased from us. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage from misuse, improper installation, or modification of the supplied components.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, images, product designs, logos, and graphics — is the property of Prolific Audio and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prolific Audio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue. Professional installation by a qualified technician is recommended.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version posted on this page is the current version and applies to all orders placed after its posting date.
